This is it kids. The last party we'll be throwing in the house now simply known as "711". Come back one last time and reminisce with us about the past year's parties, and be a part of something to remember next year. The current plan for us is to wear our bedsheets and have the last party toga style, so be cool and wear yours too. Kegs to be tapped at 6pm Wednesday May 2, one hour after the last class of the 2000-2001 academic schoolyear is over (just enough time to change into your bedsheets). Be hung over for reading day. We will be. We're all moving next year, so this is the last party for 711 as we know it. Don't worry though, none of us are leaving, just relocating. So the 711 style party will live on, only not at 711. For those not in the know, here's why: Some number of girls on some corner nearby were confronted by the police about what they were doing this night. Now, what's the logical thing to do if you're underage? Right. Just be cool, and no one gets arrested. What did they do? Run into our house. So that's why everyone had to go home. The Urbana Police were pretty much told flat out that we were serving underage kids alcohol (not that we'd knowingly do such a thing), so their only option was to immediately shut the party down, or issue dozens of tickets, and then shut the party down. Haven't you always wanted to go to that 8am lecture hung over? Here's your chance. For a change of pace, we're throwing a Sunday party! We know you aren't going to any other parties, cause we've got the weekend monopoly on Sunday's. You know 2 days of partying isn't enough for a weekend. So we say party on Sunday. You know you want to. oh yeah...this was an april fools joke. sorry to all those who came anyway. hahaha. suckers.

Here's our post-patty's day welcome back from spring break bash. Rumors of an authentic leprechaun making an appearance are being spread. I don't think we'll be able to come up with leftover green beer kegs, but we'll try. Come early and watch the Illini kick the shit out of Kansas with us. As an added bonus, you might not have to fight to get to a keg! Then after the game, drink and dance the night away in the usual 711 fashion we've all come to know and love, whether it be in celebration or just to forget how bad we embarassed ourselves. As for Saturday [march 24], head over to 404 W Elm. Tell them 711 W Green sent you. Then demand free cups. When they don't give them to you don't blame us. It's a long hike, but hey, you can pick up some milk at Schnuck's while you're out there. Plus you get the added benifit of 12-13 beers worth of calories being burnt off on the way home! But seriously. Those kids know how to throw a party. If you didn't know that already, go find out for yourself.

Hopefully we'll be back from New Orleans by friday. Pretty sure this one will have to be Mardi Gras Fat Friday seeing as how we'll almost definitely have more authentic Cajun thrown beads than we'll know what to do with. Can't make it to Bourbon Street cause you just CAN'T miss that Physics midterm? Don't have a car? Friends too lame to go with you? Alright crew here's the breakdown. All of you that came to the Jan 19 get together know all too well that far too many got together. So in light of that, you won't see any flyers in print, and we've requested illiniparties.com not post the next one. This one's for the true 711 crew. Bring your roomate, tell your friends, hell tell Mom and Dad, just don't chalk the quad or else you won't be able to move again. Word of mouth only!
